NogginPop ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Account Information
When you create an account we collect your email address and display name. These are required to identify your account and enable leaderboard features.

Game Data
We store your game scores, streaks, and progress. This data is associated with your account and used to power leaderboards and your personal statistics.

Avatar
If you set a profile emoji, it is stored in your account and shown on the leaderboard.

Device Data
We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate and improve the app
To display leaderboards and your personal statistics
To send optional local notifications (only if you grant permission)
To respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, including Amazon Cognito for authentication and Amazon DynamoDB for game data. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

4. Your Rights

You may:

Update your display name and avatar at any time in the Profile tab
Export a copy of your data from Profile → Export My Data
Delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete Account

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

5. Children's Privacy

NogginPop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
